The session may start with some posed shots, where the mother and child are positioned in a way that focuses on their connection with each other. Typically I have found after a few min of direction the mother and child being to pose perfectly on their own. I encourage playing together, singing a song or telling jokes, this allows me to capture more candid shots of the mother and her child or children. These moments can be some of the most memorable, as they capture the natural interactions and emotions between the mother and her child or children.

For this Mommy & Me session, I partnered up with Poppin Events by Missy S. She is located in Riverside CA. Missy has an eye for design and creates magical picnic setups as well as party back drops. 

With Spring coming both Missy and I wanted to create a Citrus theme picnic for one special FIT4MOM Riverside Mama!

Friday Tyler celebrated his 100th day of 1st grade. To celebrate the school asked all the kids and staff to dress up as if they were 100 years old. Tyler was so excited to dress up, so his dad took him to get all the essential things to transform him into " Grandpa Tyler." We had a blast as a family working together to help him look the part. Tyler was glowing with joy, he stayed in character all day long. I think this was his favorite day of the school year. Here are some pictures I took so that he can remember that day forever.
